Explaining Barcelona.
From within, to the world.

For more than thirty years I have researched, written and built narratives about Barcelona through its streets, archives, photographs and human stories.

One body of work, one city

History, photography, memory and urban culture.

My work starts from a simple idea: Barcelona becomes clearer when we make the documents speak again. Books, exhibitions, research and writing form a single long-term project.

Street naming

Street names also tell the story of Barcelona.

Since 2023 I have served on the Municipal Street Naming Committee as a historian and museologist.

I contribute historical research and a heritage perspective to decisions about the names that shape Barcelona’s collective memory.
